“ Such a cute little cafe! They baked their scones in house and have various flavours. They do sell out by the end of the day so I would go early if you want to try as many flavours as possible. I find their coffee a little too acidic for my tastes but that’s a personal preference. They also don’t serve clotted cream but mascarpone cream. They are laptop friendly and have two searing areas —one at the front which is full of natural lighting and one at the back which is cozier. ”
“ BEST scones ever!! Visiting Hiya for the first time after a friend's recommendation, and it was literally love at first site :) It was the cutest little shop on Dundas Street West with the MOST AMAZING scones in Toronto! We couldn't help but order 5 of the 8 scones and devoured it over a delicious cup of hojicha latte :) The scones were crispy on the outside and very soft and light on the inside. I could seriously eat a dozen in one go lol. The Butter Caramel Scone was my absolute favourite, and my friend loved the Matcha White Chocolate! They also serve bottled alcohol on site, and I highly recommend the Kagua Lager Beer . . . Note: We went right when they opened on the weekend. They sell out super fast ”
“ 5/5 Such a cute cafe that has a hidden basement with the cutest camping setup! They also allowed my cat to come as long as she stayed in her carrier! The scones were some of the best that I have! The pairings went super well and you could not go wrong with any choice. Totally worth the almost perfect 5 star rating that they have! Only regret was coming late and not having as many options! The drinks are not lacklustre either The overall ambiance and lighting of the cafe is also super cutie with a small retail section of select Japanese goods Overall cute cafe with yummy scones, good drinks ”
“ Everything in this cafe is adorable! The aesthetics are so cute. The scones are top quality! We had an iced mocha, iced tea, blueberry scones, lemon scones, and the chives/bacon/cheese scones (obviously not in one sitting, but, we had to try a few!). Everything was delicious, it's well worth it! You can tell the owner puts a lot of love, time, and care into the business. If I could rate it 10 stars, I would. ”

“ very cute cafe, lots of available seats when we were there sat morning. lemon scone was delicious, soft and sweet. The candied lemon slice was so good and the cream cheese tasted light and super fluffy iced matcha latte was delicious with hokusan matcha and regular milk. latte was okay, not overly amazing but not bad. they have picnic baskets/kits available for rent and it comes with two scones and a thermos of a drink. everything is really cute and would be perfect for a summer/spring date ”

“ Such a cute place! I got the blueberry scone and my sister got the savory cheddar scone. It was delicious, not too dense of chewy, the texture was great, soft. They have other good options and drinks that I will have to try next time! Also came with dip to spread. There was nobody when we went and sat at the nice patio. The server was super nice and warmed and brought our scones to the back. The place is very nice and I love that they have an outside patio tucked away in the back. ”
